Witney Inter-Church Singers
have been in existence since March 2006, and the choir is composed of singers from over 15 churches in Witney and the surrounding district. We have around 60 people on our books, though the numbers participating in any particular event can vary between 25 and 45!

Our aim is to witness to non-Christians and encouraging Christians through our performances, and to encourage each other within the choir through music and fellowship. We perform a wide variety of music and, as we have a number of members interested in drama and dance, one of our annual events is usually a musical. A children's group is often included.

All our local events are usually accompanied by a live band.

We put on at least two events - and sometimes three - each year. One will be a Christmas production, and one normally takes place in June, but sometimes we have an early spring production too. We have also regularly participated in the annual Prom Praise Easter event at the Royal Albert Hall in recent years.

New singers - especially men, are always welcome!
Since 2011 the Musical Director has been Guy James

Paul Herrington, the founder and first Musical Director of the choir, stepped down in 2011.
